How to measure yourself

Bust

Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape parallel to the ground. Keep one finger between the tape and your body for comfort.

Waist

Measure around your natural waist — the narrowest part of your torso, usually about an inch above your navel. Stand relaxed, don't hold your breath.

Hips

Measure around the fullest part of your hips and bottom, usually about 8 inches below your natural waist. Keep the tape parallel to the floor.

Height

Stand without shoes against a flat wall. Mark your height and measure from the floor. This helps determine hem length on our maxi and midi styles.

Before you measure

Use a soft measuring tape, not a rigid ruler

Measure over light clothing or underwear only — not over a thick jumper

Ask someone to help — self-measuring can introduce small errors

Take each measurement twice and use the larger number if they differ

Stand naturally — don't suck in or push out

All our measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements

A note on coverage

All Munira pieces are designed with full coverage as the starting point. Sleeve lengths, necklines, and hem drops are tested across all sizes — not just sample size — to ensure coverage is consistent whether you are an XS or a 3XL.

Length is measured from shoulder to hem. For petite frames (under 160cm), the maxi length will be slightly closer to the ankle. For tall frames (over 175cm), the hem will sit just above the floor.

Length is measured from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem. The Rania Blouse has a relaxed fit — if you prefer a more fitted look, size down one.

All our bottoms have elasticated waistbands designed to accommodate the full range within each size bracket. The Hana Skirt is fully flowy — if in doubt between sizes, the smaller size will sit more fitted at the waist while the larger will be more relaxed.

Co-ord sets are sized to match across the top and trouser. If your bust and waist measurements fall into different size brackets, size to your bust for the top and your waist/hips for the trousers — both pieces can be exchanged separately.

The Noor Maxi Dress

Relaxed fit through the body. True to size. The linen-blend has a slight give — if between sizes, stay at the smaller size for a cleaner line.

Wide-leg trouser fits generously. The blouse is relaxed — true to size or size down for a slightly more fitted look. Cotton has minimal stretch.

All Munira pieces are designed with a modest, relaxed silhouette — which means sizing up is always the right call when you're on the border. You'll get better coverage and more comfort, with no loss of shape.

Your measurements land at the top end of a size bracket, you prefer a more relaxed fit, or you run warm and want more airflow around the body.

Stay true to size if

Your measurements fall in the middle of a bracket and you prefer a cleaner, more defined silhouette. All pieces will still provide full coverage at your true size.
