Yes. Every piece is tested outdoors in natural UK daylight before it's approved for sale — not under studio lighting. We hold each garment up to direct sunlight and test it at multiple angles. If it fails, it doesn't ship. This is a non-negotiable standard that every piece must pass before it reaches you.
No. Every Munira piece is designed to be worn as a single layer — no undershirt, no slip, no extra lining required. The fabric itself or the built-in lining provides complete coverage. That's the whole point of what we build.
Most modest fashion is designed to look covered — Munira is engineered to be covered. The difference is in the fabric construction and testing. We start with opacity as a requirement, not an afterthought, and every piece is built around that. We also keep our collection intentionally small so we can maintain that standard across everything we sell.
Yes. We use natural fibres — linen, cotton, and modal — specifically chosen for breathability. The lining in our lined pieces is constructed to allow airflow while maintaining opacity. We test pieces in warm conditions before approving them. The Breeze Edit is our most lightweight collection, designed specifically for summer.
We use a range of natural and natural-blend fabrics depending on the piece — linen-cotton blends, 100% cotton, cotton-modal blends, and crepe fabric for our abayas. The exact composition is listed on each product page. We do not use synthetic fabrics that trap heat or feel uncomfortable against the skin.
Our fabrics are rated for 80+ washes without structural change or colour loss. We keep our collection small deliberately — every piece is made to be worn for years, not one season. If you follow the care instructions, your piece should hold up beautifully over time.
Use our Size Guide which has detailed measurement charts for each product category — dresses, tops, skirts, and co-ord sets. All measurements are body measurements, not garment measurements. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for more comfort and coverage.
Yes, all Munira pieces are true to size with a relaxed, modest silhouette. Each product page includes specific fit notes for that piece. If you're unsure, check our Size Guide or contact us and we'll help you find the right size.
We stock XS through 3XL across the collection. Not all sizes are available in every colourway — check the product page for current availability. We are committed to maintaining the same standards of coverage and quality across every size we offer.
Size up. All our pieces have a relaxed silhouette, so the larger size will still look clean and fitted — just with slightly more room and better coverage. We also offer free exchanges if the fit isn't right when it arrives.
No. We test coverage across all sizes before approving any piece. Necklines, sleeve lengths, and hem drops are designed to provide the same level of coverage at every size — not just at the sample size. If a larger size changes the coverage, we redesign it.
Browse the collection, select your size and colour on the product page, then click Add to Bag. Your bag saves automatically. When you're ready, go to your bag and proceed to checkout.
If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, we can usually modify or cancel it. Email hello@munira.co.uk as quickly as possible with your order number. Orders placed before 2pm on working days are dispatched the same day, so time is important.
You'll receive an order confirmation email immediately after placing your order, followed by a dispatch confirmation with tracking details when your parcel leaves us.
All Munira orders are packaged in tissue wrap inside branded packaging — it already feels like a gift. We don't currently offer additional gift wrapping or gift notes, but this is something we're working on.
Yes. Enter your code at the bag/checkout stage. Codes are case-insensitive and cannot be combined with other offers. Sign up to our email list to receive exclusive codes and early access to sales.
UK standard delivery is free on orders over £75. Under £75, it's £3.95. Express delivery (1–2 days) is £6.95. Next day delivery is £10.95. International shipping starts from £12.95 depending on destination. Full details on our Shipping page.

Yes. We ship to Europe, the Middle East, North America, Australia, and most other destinations. See the full list on our Shipping page. International customers are responsible for any customs duties or import taxes.
Your dispatch confirmation email contains a tracking number. You can track your parcel directly on the Royal Mail website or via the link in your email.
We offer free returns on all UK orders within 90 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, and with tags still attached. Sale items can be returned within 30 days for store credit or exchange. Full details on our Returns page.

Yes. UK exchanges are free. Email returns@munira.co.uk with your order number, which item you'd like to exchange, and your preferred size. We'll confirm availability and send a prepaid label.
Refunds are processed within 5 working days of receiving your return. You'll receive a confirmation email. Refunds are issued to your original payment method and may take a further 3–5 working days to appear depending on your bank.
Most pieces can be machine washed at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Abayas and delicate pieces should be hand washed or dry cleaned. Specific care instructions are on the label inside each garment and on the product page.
No. We recommend hanging or laying flat to dry for all pieces. Tumble drying can shrink natural fibres and damage the structure of the garment over time.
No, if cared for correctly. Our fabrics are rated for 80+ washes without thinning or colour loss. Wash at 30°C, don't bleach, and don't tumble dry. If you notice any change in opacity after washing, contact us — that shouldn't happen.
Yes, completely normal. Linen creases naturally and it's part of its character. Iron on medium heat while slightly damp, or use a steamer. The creasing doesn't affect coverage or structure.
Hang dresses, abayas, and blouses on padded hangers to preserve their shape. Fold trousers and skirts. Store away from direct sunlight to prevent colour fading. Abayas especially benefit from being stored hanging rather than folded.
